So, long time has passed since creating this blog... I have nearly moved yards to one with off road hacking, but due to a LOT of thinking and thinking, and turmoil, I decided to stay where I was... for my horse's sake, she is SO settled it was unfair to move her as she doesn't cope with change well.

I have been hacking out again, the roads haven't been too bad, as I have mostly been hacking out of a weekend morning. I think the key now is to choose my times very carefully and avoid 2-6pm weekdays! (which isn't hard during the winter nights)

Apart from a damn fall I had in Royden Park (A dog ran out the bushes and my horse spooked and spun, and I went out the side door as we were going at a pretty decent canter!) - I've been gaining my confidence back.
